I try to ‘draw’ with the erase tool to delete a number of notes. On a large screen they can pretty pretty small and hard to hit. But the erase tool “selects” like a marquee select tool, and will not erase on click, shift click, alt click, control click, shift alt click. You have to go back and exactly hit the selection with another click. If you miss, you have to re-select the group, re-attempt to hit a note.
These kind of tiny user interface irritations are important, developers. Steinberg: give your developers big screens with high resolution when they develop this kind of precise click work. And make them wear glasses.
Is this a feature request: make the ‘selection’ optional, or make a selected group disappear on a click anywhere with the erase tool.
