I can’t seem to get erasing work in the piano roll. Somehow I left a note for piccolo in the piano roll, deleted the notes in Write mode, but the note stayed in the piano roll, and now I can’t erase it.
From these you can see that the note is in Play but not in Write, and I can’t delete it.
