How do I correct an error in Dorico?
Can you be more specific about what you want? Did you enter an incorrect pitch? Or do something else unintended?
In general, if you do something you didn’t mean to, you can almost always hit Ctrl/Cmd+Z right away to undo it.

Remove something & replace it with new music.
Select the notes you want to remove, and hit Backspace or Delete.

Hi @Howard_Reda, adding to the useful suggestions by @asherber, be sure you are in Write mode to be able to (select and) delete music and other items.
