Hi, since the latest updates I get this error report:
Is this a bug?
Yours
Peter
It has been reported several times on Windows, for instance here or there…
According to user’s reports, it has sometimes been resolved simply by rebooting the computer.
Two days ago, I ended up by reinstalling D6.2.10 because rebooting was obviously not enough.
The team is certainly aware of it, as they read every message of this forum.
Why does Windows label the error message with „Ungültiges Bild“ (“Invalid Picture”).
This must be a Windows bug (on top of the described issue).
On my system it has been sometimes preceded by this other alert:
Translation: Part of this application has been blocked.
Some features of Dorico may not work because we cannot verify who published the file graphics2d.dll that the application tried to load.
But afterwards there was nothing in Windows Defender’s blocking history.
It’s just a Windows translation bug. I believe it would read in English: Invalid image (exe/dll etc.)
Thank you, yes now it makes sense, these are disk or file images Windows is talking about.
