I already have one Cubase Artist 14 active license running on my windows 10 laptop, never had any problems. Now I decided to install it also on my second windows 10 PC but it won’t open. It says: error: service mediaserver 0 9 3 not registered, and when try to open it second time it says: no valid license key or then it opens safe mode window. Of course I first installed Download Assistant, then downloaded Artist 14 and activated it with Activation Manager. Then I uninstalled it and tried to install Elements 15 trial and got the same effing errors so I cannot use any Cubase version on my second PC. And please don’t tell me to try reinstall it again because both Artist 14 and Elements 15 trial were installed for the first time on this second PC so it was fresh install. I also tried to install Media Bay manually again as suggested on some posts but it said it is already installed. So what could be the problem here? I haven’t installed any libraries yet, just tried Cubase alone. I am so freaking pissed
So uninstall it then manually install it.
If that doesn’t help see if opening Cubase using run as administrator works which will tell us if it’s an issue with privileges
