Cubase will not communicate with my control surface all of a sudden.. I have tried restarting both EuCOn and my Mac. I have uninstalled and reinstalled both EuControl and Cubase. I’ve tried Safe Mode in Cubase as well. The control surface works with all other applications. Is there any way to solve this, or am I out of luck with getting this control surface to work with Cubase?
Does EuCon appear under Remote Devices in Studio Setup? If so, are the desired checkboxes selected?
Could you give some more specifics please? Like what versions you’re using of the software and what control surface you’re using.
I’m assuming for example that your surface is showing up in the Eucontrol window (?).
And like cpechet wrote it would be good to see the settings in Cubase, and another screenshot of the relevant pages in Eucontrol would help as well. I think there are four tabs of interest; surfaces, applications, general and preferences.
Yes, and yes.
I’m using EuControl version 2025.12.0., and Cubase 14.0.41 with an Artist Mix. Yes, everything is working on the EuControl side. My control surface is working in MIOConsole and in Pro Tools.
Thanks, & weird. It sure seems like it should all work.
I’ve got nothing!…. ![]()
Thanks for looking at it for me, I appreciate your time. I think I have it solved on my end
. I changed some network device settings (probably unnecessary), unchecked then deleted EuControl & MC Client from Security & Privacy under ‘Accessibility’, then restarted my computer and re-added/re-engaged those two. I don’t understand why that did work, as I just reinstalled EuControl, added those accessibility settings, and restarted again last night, but it did.
Glad its working!
