Well Steinberg have outdone themselves with Cubase 13, after getting rid of all the plugins and VST instruments and only running a few audio files as well as running cubase with a buffer setting at 2048 I managed to record 6 bars of music (yay) before the audio dropped out. I’ve removed cubase 13 and gone back to Cubase 12 which is as solid as a rock. They’ve had 2 years to produce this piece of garbage. They should be offering us a refund for a piece of junk that doesn’t work. I am sick of being used as an unpaid Beta tester, but I suppose all the talent left and started Studio One.
What kind of computer are you running?
I’m running a Pentium i9 running at 5ghz, 128Gb ram and 1Tb NVMe drive.and another 5 SSd’s With a UAD Thunderbolt 3 Apollo and 5 octocores So my computer can normally easily handle whatever I throw at it, and I’ve never had dropouts before, Cubase 12 works flawlessly so I know it’s not my system and a lot of people are having the same problem. The problem is with Cubase 13 pro not my computer as everything apart from cubase 13 works perfectly. Also when I use Cubase I always disconnect from the Internet and turn off my virus program because I know that antivirus programs interfere with Cubase. Cubase 13 is full of bugs and I’ve wasted enough time on it, so I’ll just keep using Pro 12 until they fix all the bugs as I don’t really use any Steinberg plugins or instruments as I’ve got a lot of Third party FX and Instruments.
Well did you ask for one?
Whose makes the computer, and what’s the model?
Hi, don’t worry about it, I’ve got it sorted
What was your solution? It might help someone else on here.
Well just to get cubase to open, I opened it up in safe mode then went to the VST Plugin Manager and hid the console 1 .dll , it means that you don’t get the use of the faders but at least I can carry on working and can still use all of the plugins. I thought at first I fixed it but after the song played through twice it froze again. I’ve been talking to Softube and they are well aware of the problem, there is someone who has an earlier version of the softube central that apparently works, . I will attach it to this email and you can see for yourself. I’ve bought a Faderport so I’m not worried about the faders, and when Softube has sorted the problem I will sell them.

Hi, just tried to send you the file but Email client wouldn’t let me send, I don’t know if it sent the other e-mail minus the attachment so you might get the same message twice but here is the message that I sent.
