I just updated to N10.1. It changed my display preferences back to default settings. I went over to the Event Display page and found my preference selections moved or missing. :open_mouth:

So WHERE ARE THE TRANSPARENT EVENT CONTROLS NOW (See N8.3 photo).

I hate the solid event lines. I much prefer the transparent event container of the wave forms and MIDI data when I’m editing. How do I get these settings back?

Oh, HELL NO! I’m going back to 10.0! :angry:

I’m back to N10.0.20. Crisis averted. The ONLY reason I updated was for the video clip rendering promised in N10.2. But, if the transparent event mode is going to be removed, 10.0.20 will be as far as I go. In fact, that being the case, I could just go back to N8.3, since I’m still tweaking N10 to have all of the prefs that I had in that iteration. What a disappointment!! :frowning: :confused:

Me too.
I’ll sugest going to the N10.1 announcement thread and make some fuss about it, still no reply from Steinberg regarding this subject, its not even on the 10.1 release notes.
