I am having a lot of trouble with comping through vocal takes. It seems like Cubase can’t handle very much data in the GUI.
A lot of times the GUI lags every time I want to comp through takes. An operation like “Events to Part” crashed Cubase yesterday and today the same operation took 2 minutes.
I am having this problem on multiple projects. I have tried hiding all other tracks than the track I am comping through, but it doesn’t help that much.
Usually I would do 5 complete takes of a song of 3½ minutes.
I have more than enough RAM (64GB) and my harddrive is as fast as it can (M.2).
Any solutions to that?
