Event Volume Curves with Automatic Audio Segment Detection/combine segments

sometimes (quite often) the detection has small parts of the waveform separated, although musically they belong together. is there a way to combine consecutive segments and then adjust them together?

This can be done.
Either with the mouse: keep holding down the modifier keys for audio segmentation while changing the range borders; they will snap to audio segments.
Or with key commands:
