EWQL Hollywood Strings and Expression map issue

I have a problem with legato patches of Hollywood instruments, especially with strings. All Diamond versions. The reason I don’t post this on EastWest forum is that this happens only with Expression maps.

When I play some legato phrase continued by pause or staccato on a different midi channel, which is basically the same thing, and then again continued by legato, the software instead of playing samples form the start plays a release sample (legato transition) of the last legato note and continues.

Any idea how to get rid of it?

I have exactly the same problem and only with expression maps! Infuriating! Legato is actually useless with expression maps when it’s like this.

This is still an issue 5 years later… with PLAY and updated library and Cubase…
