Ever since I upgraded to 7.5 there are some legacy projects which take a very long time to save and auto save - 3 minutes or so. Is there anything I can do to solve this issue?

Do you have the latest Cubase 7.5.40 update, please?
Could you try to Back up the Project from the File menu and use this newely created Back up project, please? Is it the same?
