In Cubase 13 you were able to explode a midi track to several tracks. Let’s say your played a 4 voices track on the keyboard but wanted it to instead be spread out to 4 separate tracks, soprano, alto, tenor and bass.
But in C14 this funktion is deleted. It would be nice to have it back or even better to have an even more intuitive tool to handle this since the explode were a bit dull tool for this action. Does anyone out there want the same function available or is there one that I’m not aware of?
dissolve part - in the midi menu - may do the trick
Okey, thanks for the suggestion and I found out that this would have been great if we were taking about a drum track since this function adds a new track for each pitch. What I would like is to dissolve chords into voices. One track, one voice. This was possible with the old function “Explode” but Steinberg have removed this. I hope they replace it with something even better. Let’s wait and see
