Export a file without changing the sound

Hello, everyone
need help

I have a wave after mastering
I want
Edit a change finish with Fade
When I will export the sound will change
The Mastering is done on analog equipment
I want to keep a sound as he
Just edit the finish
and another question
The file mastring is Lossless format, 44.1 kHz 24 bit
For Streamer Services
Do I need a codec
Do I dither
Or I can be used directly for the streamer ?
Thanks
Eldad

Hi there, this can be done via the “Save” command in the Audio File Editor. This saving will not include any Master Section Output settings such as Master Section configurations. So only the edit changes for the audio file will be saved in that case.
cheers

Fading a file would technically require re-dithering, at least that section. Nobody will die though if the dithering is skipped.

Depending on what distributor you use, the 24-bit/44.1k WAV file can work. If you use CD Baby, they’re still stuck at 16-bit/44.1k.

Thank you Kay and Justin
I read the explanation of cd baby
They request dither>>>
if the files are “dithered” properly down to 16-bit they should sound fine.>>>
If so I will make the change at the end plus dither
Is a codec also required
The most important thing is to keep the original sound the most
Thank you very much
