Export Audio Mixdown Cubase Pro 9.5.10 performance issue

Yesterday I wanted to make an Export Audio Mixdown of a simple 3 minute song with about 10 audio tracks and some VST FX and HALion Sonic 3 1 Instrument. Nothing special. When the export starts it stalls after some 6-7% and estimates about 2 hours to finish.
Looking in the Windows Home 10 performance task, the CPU and other parts of the PC do not seem to be very busy or so.

After quitting Cubase Pro 9.5.10 and starting the project in Cubase Pro 9.0.30 it works like a charm and finishes the export in about one minute.

What’s going on here?

I have exactly the same problem and therefore currently use my old version 9.0. It’s totally shitty that you buy a new version or update and then something happens! if you come from Germany, we can also make phone calls if you could fix the problem! Am grateful for any help!!!
