Muting them would still force Cubase to export in real time. I couldn’t do that for all stems, since I got some “disk overload” issues when doing multiple channel export through master after completing a few channels. Happened every time (tried about 3-4 times). I have only fast internal M2 and SSD disks… I hope this also get’s a ticket in Steinberg’s Jira (or whatever they use).
