Please can I ask for two minor quality of life feature requests? Actually, I’d say there were very nearly bux fixes; as follows:
1: When you export a MusicXML/midi/audio, you can choose a different folder from the one Dorico would like you to use. Please could that be persistent? I know I can globally change it, but if one is editing 20 midi files and then saving them as MusicXML, I only want those 20 files to go into the folder I choose, and it’s a layer of faff which is annoying, time consuming and unneccesary. Speaking of unneccesary, do we really need to have to uncheck a tick box every time which attempts to create a random sub-folder for you? Or, at the very least, could the choice to untick it be persistent?
2: Please, please PLEASE, could you add the option to change the auto-generated filename away from “400 characters of gibberish”? You’ve done it beautifully for exporting PDF files - can we do the same for other formats? It’s really weird to be able to do that for some formsts but not others.
