Export /low disk space problem

Hello,My Cuebase LE 5 has been working well until recently when It is impossible to export a project because of the ‘Low Disk Space’ message.I am using an HP Laptop about 2 years old with windows 10
I have tried deleting or uninstalling other optional apps to free up space but that has no effect.I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Cuebase program and setup attempting to have it set itself up on a dedicated external hard drive( 1 TB) but it always migrates back to the C drive.It has been suggested to me that RAM is at the centre of the problem.
I am not computer savvy enough to figure this out apparently.
Any help would be appreciated
