It would be useful if we could export a marker list to a text file.

What exactly are you doing and why would you need to export your markers in a text file?

I do a lot of sound design and music for video. I work with a team and use the marker track to do the spotting list for the sounds. After that we split the sounds and work in different workstations.
We all need to have the spotting list. The marker list on a text file would be time saver.
While not as elegant as exporting the list, you could use the snipping tool to capture a graphic image of the list & use that for your documentation.
