Export Midi File

Hi,

I have a large file of a 11:00 piece, and I exported it as a midi file.

It’s been exporting for an hour now… Can’t be normal? it’s about 50% exported.

I’ve always thought exporting midi in Cubase took a long time. Why?

Read this post a lil while ago and now wondering if
your MIDI export (successfully) completed?

BTW was it a ‘MIDI Type 0’ or
a ‘MIDI Type 1’ export?

Midi type 1 and it took 4 hours.

I just exported two midi tracks of 1.5Hrs long each and it took about a minute. There’s quite a complex tempo map too with many changes throughout. Still, glad yours finished in the end!!
