When I listen to a recording of one track inside Cubase it sounds really good, low noise and clear. When I export that one track a low hum is added to the sound and the level seems to be pumped up and the sound is very “pointy”
I have tried dithering, changing bit rates, different file types, different mics, different projects, new projects. It still sounds the same on export.
I have seen elsewhere that people have to use third party programs to get the sound quality to another rendering program or run physical cables to another computer or recording set up. This seems very extreme but the sound is terrible.
Any advice?
