If I want to export an MP3 file from my full score I only get an MP3 from the first instrument in my case the clarinet. Wat do I do wrong
Another question is how I can make an MP3 of full score where one of the instruments is " Highlighted".
This is to help musicians to practice so they hear their now part better while listening to the full score.
Make sure the full score layout is the currently active layout before you export your audio file.
Dorico doesn’t have an automatic way of creating audio files where one specific instrument is brought to the fore. You can do this manually by adjusting the Mixer faders before each export.
Is it possible that I have changed the Channel by accident?
I ask this because in the play mode when Clarinet or alt sax is selected I always only get the clarinet in the MP3. If Tenor sax or others are selected I get the MP3 of the full score
I discovered that it has to do with the application on which I opened the file.
If I use Music (from Mac) only clarinet is played. If I use quick time player full score is played.
That sounds to me like the caching issue that people ran into with iTunes. That is, iTunes has a cached version somehow of the file and does not realize that the file changed and therefore continues to play back the old, cached version.
What if you export to a completely new file with a different name? Does that yield the expected audio
I tried to hername the file. When I play it, it taks the original name. So it means that I have to change my Project name to export the right MP3. I solved the problem for now with another playback app
