export of Midi with wrong instruments

Hello together,
could somebody please help me? when I export a Midi File, (data exchange by USB stick), and I start it on my keyboard, then all instruments are switched to Piano!

not a Forum issue I think. Which Cubase version do you use ?

Hello Chris,
I use cubase essential 4. bought new. I noticed, that I was able to export another midi file with the correct instrument settings. May be, this is a specific midi file with no fixed instruments. thanks for reply.

Have you place the proper ‘Program Change’ events in your MIDI file?
