Export Real Time Question

I recently started using Cubase 8.0 (using MR816CSX as soundcard) with outboard tube compressor & Analog Preamp on mix downs, I really love the way it sounds. In doing so I am exporting in real time and there is a tab to effect playback volume but I am unable to monitor (hear) the track playback. I am sure of coarse it’s user error can anyone steer me in right direction to Monitor the playback during audio export.

Hope I have been clear in question.

I believe you need to set up the control room “listen bus” to monitor playback during a real time export.
Not 100% sure though.

Thanks again JL Audition volume in Studio tab was the key.
