I would like to export several systems from a large score to a new file so that I can continue editing them there. Is this possible, how should I proceed?
Thanks and best regards, LO

Hi @Lothar , well the faster way I know would be to create a duplicate of your Dorico project, then in Setup mode delete the players that you don’t need.
create a new layout that only contains the desired players, and work from there (keeping in mind that if you change the music on this players, the music will be changed also in the other layouts where they exist. (Or duplicating the needed players, and copying the music to the new players, using groups to differentiate and mark two which ensembles the players belong). So you have also the original layout with the other players as reference (make always duplicate of the project to be sure to not loose our original material). You can also combine this with duplicating the flow/s, and uncheck the unneeded players from that flow, or also working with different Players Groups in the same flow (Group 1: all unneeded players, Group 2: remaining needed players). You can then combine this with different layouts to visualise only the new version of your music, but having a layout that shows both versions (with the groups) as reference, … etc.. Many possibilities. Just be sure, again, to experiment on a duplicate of your project to avoid loosing material!
If you could upload the initial Dorico Project, describing which players (some “old”, some “new”) the end result should contain, I am sure someone can suggest the best strategy.
[Once I had a Project where I had the same Music Theater piece, with several flows, with three different ensemble arrangements all in one Project, using groups, and different layouts. It is very nice to have the original material always reachable, and then visualise only the new version with one click
