Is there a way to export the displayed transcript with the video?
Gemini, says no Google Search .
If the WebVTT standard were supported, that would be great for importing subtitles but naturally, for exporting as well.
Maybe you can start a Feature Request, since I don’t know how many times I have asked for this, without anything in the way of an acknowlegement from the powers that be.
I get the same over at the Davinci forum, but they tell me it is supported, when standard .vtt files don’t work, whole version after whole version.
How annoying. I mainly use FCPX for video. But I thought, if Nuendo already offers this, that would be great. And yes, everything is great, except I can’t get the text into the video. FCPX supports CEA-608, iTT, or SRT.
Nuendo, no idea, everything is different. Which is a real shame, because the speech recognition works really well.
P.S.
I don’t know how complex or complicated this is, but Nuendo should only need to be able to export it as, quote the FCP manual
“The format must be “CEA-608,” “ITT,” or “SRT.” CEA-608 files have the file name suffix “.scc,” iTT files have the suffix “.itt,” and SRT files have the suffix “.srt.”
I only use it in Resolve but if it were available in Nuendo, I would use it to rehearse singers.
Have you considered using CSV (Comma-Separated Values) files?
There are free tools available that can convert Nuendo CSV files to SRT format.
A few years ago, I created a Python script for Resolve on Linux. Now Resolve does it natively.
I bet ChatGPT could whip up a script for you in no time!
I use .vtt files on the web, as chapters for song sections.
I know someone has written a tool, in this forum but native support is always preferred.
Forgot to mention we did a quick tip video, though it explains Resolve to Nuendo workflow, it works both ways
Will try RadioTal and thanks for the tip
I request this feature to be added also.
Should be an easy one since Cubase/Nuendo can already burn timecode into the video, shouldn’t it?
