Export: Wavelab not remembering last render settings

Wavelab used to always remember the last settings for rendering audio but suddenly has stopped doing so and now consistently reverts to the same location/format no matter what I set the previous session.

Are you speaking of the settings in the Render Ribbon, or the Export page in the backstage view?

I’m not sure which one of those it would be (not familiar with those terms.) But, for example, say I have an audio file open and I click on the “FILE” tab above the waveform, then in the column of buttons on the left I click on “Export”, that’s the dialog I’m thinking of.

I recommend you to use the ribbon instead:
