While exporting an audio file in WaveLab 13 Pro, there is no percentage, progress, or status bar letting you know when it is finished exporting.
There is an option to view tasks
There is an indicator on bottom left
There is also Real Time Render
If you speak about rendering:
- There is a progress bar at the bottom left of the window being rendered.
- There is also the task window, as mentioned by @Marker.
I have a question though, in Reaper etc. as in the clip above, even for offline render, the progress bar (in the form of waveform) is part of render window while in WL there is only option to open rendered file or file folder. There is also an Auto Close Option which means render window works the other way around compared to WL.
Can’t the progress bar without waveform be displayed as a float window and option to click OK to close come to WL as an option in the future?
No. In Reaper, you are blocked until the end of the rendering.
In WaveLab, you can switch to another tab and continue to work here. That’s why the current system is both discreet and efficient.
