I have exported a midi file of a Dorico project so that I can edit and Mix it in Cubase SE.
The various players tracks have associated CC automation (expression). My question is how to I get Halion Sonic SE in Cubase to respond (Read) the “Midi” automation data? How do I know it’s working?
I’ve looked up Youtube videos but they only show how to assign hardware controllers to manually adjust Halion’s parameters.
If you can see the MIDI CC data in the controller lanes in Cubase, then you can be reasonably assured that the data will be played out to the plug-in you’re using.
