Exporting mix speeds up the tempo? `(cubase 6)

Hi everyone,

Has anybody experienced their music being speeded up when exporting to a final wav mix? Vocals sound like something from ‘Alvin and the chipmunks’?

Never happened to me before, but now it happens every time I try to export something.

Any ideas/solutions greatly appreciated. :astonished:

Thanks guys - even more bizarrely it seems to save the wav onto my Mac without timing issues, but into my project speeded up!!??

Quite clearly a samplerate mismatch. Check if you are exporting at the same sample frequency as your project and audio interface settings. You’ll probably want to use 44.1KHz for all.
