Exporting Music XML from Cubase to Dorico - Error Message

Hi everyone

I found a thread over on the Dorico side which suggested that I may need to upgrade my Cubase 8.5 Pro to get seamless export of MusicXML files from Cubase to Dorico. There’s someone over here named Martin, I believe, who might know something about this?

I have the latest version of Dorico.

There was mention of a small bug which caused my error - when I try to import a piano part into Dorico, I get an error message that says

MusicXML Validation failed:

ERROR - Element ‘midi-program’: ‘0’ is not a valid value of the atomic type ‘midi-128’.
At line 37 of file:/C:/Users/User/Documents/Dorico%20Projects/Midi%20import%20try/Clav%20xml.xml

Possibly this is because Cubase is “exporting an invalid value in the ‘midi-program’ element”? I’m definitely not a programmer so I don’t know.

Can anyone confirm that this is a small bug in Cubase 8.5? If so, is it fixed in later versions?
