Exporting wav files for RC600 looper (Cubase 14)

I have been building some beats to loop on my RC600. My plan is to load them into memory tracks to give me total control, not relying on the RC600 rhythm function.
The wav files produced in export will play in a media player, but the RC600 says they are “unsupported file”.
If I push them through audacity and re-save, they are fine. I’ve taken any extra info such as XML tags out but no difference.
It works but its a bit of a faff going through another process to get the files to work. Any thoughts or any possibility of CuBase modifying the export process obviously I don’t know specifically what the problem with the file is, but the Boss RC600 is a pretty mainstream device

Thanks
Adrian

Hi so in case anyone needs this I have solved this problem.
Although the software loading loops into the RC600 is supposed to convert sample bit rate, something is not right there. What I found is when I specifically export from CuBase using 32 bit float audio at 44,100 sample bit rate it works, and actually doesn’t need the audacity step.
