So, i have this project where I’ve taken in several Final XMLs into one Dorico project to make a book. Once the XMLs were imported I had to do a lot of editing as you can imagine. So now that i’ve made so many mistakes in learning how to compile a book, now that all these songs have been edited, i want to start over with the new knowledge I have and do it right. So I opened the book project with all 15 songs, and exported them into separate files. However, when I imported one of them into a new Project in Dorico, the song was there with all the edits, but all of the other flow pages came after it with no music on them. I just wanted the export to be the song only and not all the other blank flows from the project. Included are screen shots of all the exported files; and what it looks like when I open a file.
Ah forget it, I figured it out. “Remove All Page Overrides” … slowly getting all this

Two things to consider:
Firstly, you can import one or more flows from any Dorico project into any other new project. So you don’t need to export each one and then reimport it!
Secondly, when you import a Flow (or XML, MIDI) into an existing document, then those additional flows are using the existing Layout Options of the ‘receiving’ document. Don’t expect layout work to come with that flow.
And thirdly: you can always “start over” just by deleting all your Layouts and creating new ones!
