Working with Expression Maps (especially in a big orchestral session) could use some upgrading.
Firstly, please can we get the next iteration of Expression Maps to let use the Logical Editor to work with articulations. With a consistent articulation naming/labelling scheme, the pace at which we could edit articulation selection or specific velocities tied only to short notes, etc., would be a huge enhancement.
Secondly, can we edit multiple tracks’ articulations at the same time? I’m often working on a passage where I would like the ensemble texture to change from staccato to spiccato, or legato to tremolo, and I have to go through instrument by instrument (even with them all open in the editor). Is there a quicker way that I’m not aware of, or is this an opportunity for improving the workflow? Again, with consistent naming, this could be lightning fast rather than tedious and repetitive.
