The expression map list does not support more than 126 entries. I’m talking about the list on the left side of the expression map editor. I was able to create an additional expression map by saving a current one, then loading it back in. I can select “xxx 2” from the Expression Map list in the channel inspector. If I open the expression map while this is selected, it edits the new entry instead of the old one. But there is no way to rename or delete this entry. Thanks.
This is a known limitation/issue regarding the Expression Map Setup.
The fact is that can not reorder your slots beyond 127 entries.
But there is no limitation in terms of number of slots/articulations.
No changes have been made to Expression Maps for ages, probably since its inception, and naturally lots of improvements are needed in this area.
