Expression Maps: Deleting Attribute Is Deleting Note As Well

I’m fairly new to Cubase and I’m finding that when I delete an attribute it also deletes the corresponding note. I work in the Key Editor. The problem does not occur with directions. Perhaps there’s a reason for it or a setting that needs to be changed?

I am using Cubase 7.5, VSL Special Edition and the VSLSE Expression Maps downloaded from the Vienna website.

You need to click again in an attribute to delete it keeping the note.

Yes, (and with alt/opt held down)

As a PC user, that works with “Alt” held down, as Steve suggests. Thanks to both of you.
