I’d really appreciate some help here. I’ve been playing around with these pesky Expression Maps for over a week and I am getting nothing.
I have the expression map setup in Cubase 13 using CC 32 (which is what Spitfire suggested):
I have the Abbey Road iconic Strings loaded up and have set the trigger to CC range. The problem I have is that 1) The articulations are not working at all regardless of whether I use CC32 or Note on triggers. The expression map in Cubase does seem to move around appropriately in CUBASE, but it doesn’t move in Spitfire (apart from randomly defaulting to Pizzicato all the time. I haven’t had any any helpful information from Spitfire other than telling me to use CC32 rather than Keyswitches. This is a standalone package from Spitfire and they’ve told me I shouldn’t be using Kontakt.
Does anyone have any ideas what I am doing wrong? I am going mad here…
