I once had a zoom call with the CTO Lele and Andrea of Audio Modeling about my expression maps, since they wanted to build their own. But I don’t know if they are still working on that. It really has been a while.
Here is a project with an XM for SWAM instruments. They work best with Vienna Ensemble pro, where I build sections out of small sections. But that is more for the strings.
I don’t know if this projects use my latest expression map. But anyway you should use these settings:
Mapping Strings
Cc11 = Expression and Vibrato intensity
Cc1 = Portamento-Lenghth
Cc 2 = Bow pressure
Cc3 = Bow Lift
Cc4 =Harmonics
Cc5 = Pizz
Cc6 = Stopped
Cc8 = Tremolo
Cc9 = Bow position
Cc 27 = Sordino
Mapping Wind:
Cc11 = Expression
CC10 = Portamento-Length
CC1 = Vibrato (Narrow the Vibrato intensity to a low range)
Cc2 = Attack tongue (only for brass)
CC5 = Flutter tongue
CC3 = Growl (I think not yet implemented.
CC4 = Overblow

SWAMFlying_Theme_From_E.T._John_Williams.dorico (2.0 MB)
@dspreadbury I wanted to share those maps publicly when they are „ready“. But I think they will never be. So if you want to stick them to the corresponding thread you are more then welcome.
