The whole figure below is playing back with the Legato sound. I need the Trill sound to over-ride it on the first note. I thought I could put the two Base switches in a Mutual Exclusion Group, but it doesn’t seem to make a difference. What’s the method for getting the first note only to play back with a Trill? (My VST is Spitfire Symphonic Woodwinds)
You need an entry in your xmap for tr +leg and to make sure the trill applies only to the trilled note

Got it. That worked. And I had to actually remove trills from the exclusion group. Thanks
