Hi all,
stumbled into a problem triggering the very first note in the score (starting a tremolo in strings), I see some posts relating to the same problem, wanted to see if there’s progress on this. So I’m
-Starting right from the beginning on a note another than the default/Init articulation (string tremolo in this case. )
-the tremolo is not triggered until I re-attack the note (no tie), or make a rest in the beat 1
Any solutions so far to this, or am I missing something obvious?
thanks!

Playback Options does have a “pre-roll before Flow” value, under Timing. You could try that.
Or set the Delay in the Expression Map to a small negative value of milliseconds…?
Have you checked the techniques lanes in the Key Editor? This is very useful for troubleshooting ex maps.
Thanks! Have checked the techniques lane in key editor, will see the pre-roll before Flow-thing!
best,

hi,
returning to this:
-Playing techniques line shows correctly the tremolo technique
-I have tried out different negative values in the expression map, no help
-“Pre-roll before flow” doesn’t help either
Only by starting the note a little late triggers the correct tremolo playback.
So it seems like a feature/bug, if I’m not missing anything? Any chance to get this fixed?
Thanks!
