Expression Maps Overhaul

Expression Maps are a hidden gem in Cubase. It even has uses beyond simply changing articulations, but it desperately needs an overhaul. Not just fixing bugs or better workflow but even expanding its functionality.

I was hoping C12 would have included an update tor it but nothing. I know many composer have been asking for a long time. When will there be an update/overhaul of Expression Maps?

Supposedly, it is on the list but wasn’t included in version 12. The amount of time for this overhaul is past due in my opinion. I really hope Steinberg does make some radical changes with the whole Expression Map system but as of now, it simply is collecting dust being left behind and surpassed by other DAWs in this regard. Let’s hope enough users state this need so it happens soon.
