Expression pedal change volume. How to change?

Hi! I have a problem that I cannot solve. Im using a M-Audio Keystation 88 MK3 keyboard to control Halion Sonic. I have connected an expression pedal and it changes the volume of the sound. I can not see witch paramenter it is connected to and there for can not disconnect the function. I would like to change other parrameters, not the volume… Can some one please help?

I don’t use external instruments, however the expression pedal would, in a logical world, be assigned to CC11(Expression). I believe you can use the MIDI Filter in the preferences to filter out unwanted messages.

.
You could use the MIDI insert Transformer in the Inspection panel on the left of the project window, and create your own preset to change the incoming CCs to something else. You’ll need to experiment!

It’s sending CC7

It’s not necessary to use the input transformer in Cubase.
You can set it to be whatever you want in the M-Audio Keystation 88 MK3 itself. See page 13 of the M-Audio user guide.

Thanks for the feeedback! Maybe better to change in cubase, makes it permanent!

I will try both methods!

I added CC 7 in the list, but this does work

In the MIDI monitor, I can only see CC 11. It seems I cannot configure anything about this in my arturia keylab
