When I try to extend more than one staff or even a chord in a single staff using “Extend to end of selection”, only one note is extended:

Yes, I can reproduce this; this feature is not currently designed to work across multiple staves, though I agree it would be useful if it did, and I’ll make a note to see if we can extend it in this way.
Thank you! Multiple staves would be great, but if that’s very complicated, I would also be quite happy if a chord in a single staff could be extended that way.
