Hi,

We can find a lot of great symbols in the playing techniques ! But I didn’t understand if, according to the architecture of dorico, it’s possible to create or draw new symbols, or to modify space and shape of existent symbols. I join two exemples of some score I created with finale just to know if some kind of lines and symbols like these are or will be possible with dorico : working with extended techniques we are very often in the necessity of drawing a particular symbol…

You can’t create arbitrary lines etc. in Dorico at the moment, but this is definitely planned for the future.

Faking the arbitrary lines is possible with haripins with the open aperture of 0 and manual adjustment in Engraving mode

And also you can fake lines with hooks on their ends with Pedal lines with adjustments in Engraving mode
