Extermal Synth Audio Not Routing to Stereo Out

Using Cubase 10, but have also tried w/ Cubase 9.5.

Using a RME Fireface UFX interface…

Now when I set up my VST Connections exactly as I have for years, I see activity when pressing a key but no sound.

So I create an Audio track that has the keyboard set for Input Routing and Stereo Out for Output. I have the Midi channel set so that both input/output is the synthesizer, but that’s as far as it goes, no longer to Stereo Out.

Any tips?

Is the Audio Return Channel Monitored (Monitor On)?

Could you attach some screenshots? Maybe you overlook something…?
