Is it possible in Cubasis 3 to control the mixer and transport control by an external MIDI-controller?

As a guitar player, I’m also waiting for such a functionality…
I would appreciate being able to start/stop playback or recording using my Blueboard pedal…
I suppose it will never appear in Cubasis 2 , as discussed 4 years ago ?
I’m planning to get Cubasis 3, but I’m dissapointed it is still not there.
