Using RX 11 Adv. as external editor, preview functions don’t always work when auditioning processes when RX is opened via. a clip’s selection from a Montage. It’s as if the preview in RX is bypassed but it’s not. Opening the same file/clip in RX as standalone and it works as expected.

Are you speaking about previewing inside RX or inside WaveLab? Because in the former case, this is not a WaveLab issue. Maybe this is an auto driver issue because playback cannot be shared between applications.
previewing inside RX when opened from a selected clip from a Montage. RX plays normally, it’s that the preview function on a couple of modules don’t process/preview what’s selected. It plays back but the processing isn’t heard. And this never happens in standalone, only when opened from WL. Not a driver thing though I’m releasing WL driver when it’s in background. Not a big deal, just a small anomaly, but not one I ever noticed doing the same methods from WL 12.
