I am using Cubase 5.5.3 on windows 7 Pro 64 bit. I have a Focusrite saffire Pro 40. The soundcard seems to work fine. I linked a TC Helicon Voiceworks to the Focusrite through S/PDif. I do not have any midi connection to the voiceworks.
Now, in Cubase I added the ext fx using spdif in and out. The card and the voicework lock and are in sync. Yet, when I press the delay calculation in cubase, nothing happens and when I insert it, it seems as if cubase is not sending/receiving anything.
In mixcontrol spdif is not sending out anything, as I believe this should be done by cubase (correct?)
My VC has input sitting on digital and sample rate to ext.
Now even stranger, when I place everything on analog, I get exactly the same problem. Is there an issues with external FX and cubase on 64 bit?
