I’d like to be able to assign my stereo external FX as a stereo insert, or two mono inserts without having to go in and delete the stereo insert in the audio connections menu. Obviously you’d have to disable one if you were using the other, but the technology is already there to do this, it must be a pretty simple design tweak to be able to enable this. Please!

Bumping this - yes please for both Cubase and Nuendo. If you are mixing hybrid, this is a huge pain. I have all of my analog mixer’s tracks exposed as external fx, but I have to decide up front if they should be mono or a stereo pair. If it’s wrong, I have to delete and recreate the external effect.
