Just a quick note to say you CAN set up an external effects insert from within Cubase with a UR28M. The UR28M does have to be set to “Independant” mode and will not work if set to “Alternate”.

How, please? Can you elaborate? I haven’t been able to do this, unless I use the SPDF out but I only have analog hardware.
